Updated 29 April 2026
Good progress continues to be made, and we can now confirm that the Splash Pool is scheduled to reopen on 1 July 2026. This revised timescale reflects unforeseen issues relating to the delivery of specialist equipment to site, which are essential to the safe and reliable operation of the facility.
We recognise that this adjusted reopening date will be disappointing news for many customers, families, and stakeholders who have been very patient throughout this extended closure. We would like to sincerely thank everyone for their continued understanding, patience, and constructive engagement during this period.
Our priority throughout has been to ensure that, when the Splash Pool reopens, it does so safely, reliably, and to the standard our users quite rightly expect and deserve. The works currently being completed, including the installation of the required equipment, are critical to achieving this and to ensuring the long-term sustainability of the facility.
Further updates, including confirmation of booking arrangements, will be shared closer to the reopening date.
Thank you once again for your ongoing patience and support. We very much look forward to welcoming customers back to the Splash Pool in July.
Treat your friends and family.
