Using the class Waiting List

Booking your class or place on the Waiting List

• Book your class as normal online or at reception. When the class is full you will be given the option to be added to the Waiting List.
• You can see how many are on the Waiting List when you join it but not exactly where you are placed as autobookings start to take place.
• You can see that you are on the Waiting List in your online account in My Bookings.

Place allocation from the Waiting List

• When a place becomes available, the first person on the Waiting List will automatically be booked into the class and sent an email informing them of this.
• Email is the only form of communication the system currently uses.
• It is the member's responsibility to check if they have received an email or status has changed in their online account.

Those who do not have an email address, can still be allocated a place from the Waiting List, but will have to monitor their account to check if they have been booked into the class.

• If you pay for your classes, you will be asked in the email to go to your account and make your payment. The outstanding amount will remain on your account until paid off.

The Waiting List will be valid until 45 minutes before the class start time. After this time anyone may book any available places up to 5 minutes before the class start time.

Cancelling a Class or Waiting List booking

• If you are booked on from the Waiting List and no longer wish to attend the class, you can cancel your booking in the normal way.
• If you are on the Waiting List and no longer wish to be, you must cancel your place via your online account.

Both class and Waiting List bookings should be cancelled 60 minutes before the class start time.
This will enable those on the Waiting List to be allocated a place before they are opened to everyone 45 minutes before the class start time.

Late Cancellation and Non Attendance Penalties

In late summer 2025, a Penalty scheme will be introduced to penalise those that do not cancel a class booking or attend a class. This will include those autobooked onto a class who do not attend. Further information will be published in due course.
