Changing Facilities

Ards

You will find the following changing facilities:

Dry Changing

Situated on the ground floor beside reception. The changing is separate male/female areas, each with showers and hair dryers. Team changing rooms are also available in this changing area. Accessible changing is available in this area.

Aqua Changing

Situated on the first floor in the Aqua Zone serving the Main, Minor and Splash pools. The Aqua changing is village style with no designated male/female changing. It has three coloured zones of cubicles and lockers, family changing, accessible changing and a Changing Places facility. Hairdryers and buggy lockers are available. Outside footwear should be covered using the shoecovers provided at the entrance door. The Spa can be accessed from the area.

Spa Changing

Situated on the first floor, Fitness and Spa and Spa members only have access to the Spa Changing facilities. The Spa doors are access controlled, therefore you must add a Spa session to your membership card via the kiosk or at reception to access the Spa. One Spa session ticket will give you 3 admissions to the Spa.

The Spa Changing has separate male and female changing rooms, each with complimentary hairdryers, handwash and shampoo. Accessible changing is also available.

The swimming pools can be accessed from the Spa using the daily access code provided.

From Monday 21 August to Sunday 3 September the Spa changing facilities will be unavailable to facilitate essential maintenance. The Spa facilities will remain fully operational with access from the Aqua changing as normal.

Tuesday	Ladies not available until 9am
Thursday	Mens not available until 9am
Saturday	8am to 6pm
Sunday	10am to 6pm

Only the changing facilities are open at the above times. Access to the pools is only available when the Spa facilities are open. Those wishing to swim before the Spa facilities open should change in the Aqua Changing. Please check the opening times for the Spa facilities.

Lockers

Lockers are available in all changing facilities. They operate with a £1 coin which is returned to you. Reusable locker tokens are available from reception costing £1. Small lockers suitable for leaving keys, wallets and membership cards are available in the gym.

Changing Places

Our Changing Places facility in Ards is located within the Aqua Zone changing area. It has been designed to meet the needs of people with a disability to allow them to use toilets safely and comfortably. This facility is helpful for people who cannot use standard accessible toilets and who require the assistance of a height adjustable changing bench and a hoist.

Changing Places toilets are different to standard accessible toilets (or “disabled toilets”) as they have extra features and more space to meet the needs of people who use them.

Our facility in Ards includes a tracking hoist system, height adjustable adult size changing bench and additional space to accommodate carers along with a toilet and handwashing area.

Comber

Changing Facilities

There are two changing facilities on the ground floor, one at the front of the centre adjacent to reception and the other at the back of the centre beside the Heavy Weights Room and Energy Studio. There are separate male/female changing areas each with showers and hairdryers. Team changing rooms are available in the changing at the front of the centre.

Accessible changing is also available at the front and back of the centre.

Lockers

Lockers are available in the main changing facilities. They operate with a £1 coin which is returned to you. Reusable locker tokens are available from reception costing £1. Small lockers suitable for leaving keys, wallets and membership cards are available in the gym.

Our Changing Places facility in Comber is located on the ground floor. It has been designed to meet the needs of people with a disability to allow them to use toilets safely and comfortably.
